About the GMT-Master II
Created with Pan Am pilots in 1955 and rebuilt as the GMT-Master II in the 1980s, this is the definitive two-time-zone watch. The modern era made its bezels in hard, fade-resistant Cerachrom and gave the collection its collector nicknames: ‘Batman’ and ‘Batgirl’ in black-and-blue, ‘Root Beer’ in brown-and-black, the grey-black ‘Bruce Wayne’, the green-and-black ‘Sprite’ with its distinctive left-hand crown, and the two-tone ‘Zombie’. References from 2018 onward carry calibre 3285 with the independent 24-hour hand and a 70-hour power reserve.

Collector Notes
Among GMT-Master II collectors, configuration is everything: dial colour, bezel material and bracelet type define both desirability and value. This example’s dial is the defining feature. Document the serial and reference numbers against the box: yes, papers: yes on receipt, and keep any service records with the watch – a complete history supports future resale.
Reference 126720VTNR with the black dial is a configuration that rarely stays listed long. Enquire now to confirm availability.
